Adult Forum/Coffee Hour Upcoming Events

The Adult Forum committee has lined up a great group of speakers and topics for this fall. Please join us each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom. 

September 20: Coffee Hour and fellowship with a report from the vestry about our Regathering Plan.
The Regathering Team has completed its work and the vestry voted to approve the plan for fall at its Sept 16 vestry meeting. Vestry members will share details and answer questions. 

September 27: Forum: What does Black Lives Matter mean to us?
The Racial Equity Action Group will lead Part I of a two-part discussion on their proposal to have a Black Lives Matter sign at Redeemer, what being part of that movement means, and what we can all do to work for racial equity. 

October 4: Coffee Hour and fellowship — with Pets!
Following the Blessing of the Animals during the live-streamed worship, we’ll share our pets at Coffee Hour. If you have a furry (or scaly, or wiggly, or slimy…) friend in your house, we want to meet them on Zoom! 

October 11: Forum: Part II of the Racial Equity Action Group
Part two of a discussion on Black Lives Matter

October 18: Forum: Guest Speakers from Bethany House of Prayer
They will lead a discussion about how we can best participate in meaningful worship at home in this time of pandemic. 

October 25: Forum: Guest Speaker Rabbi Beth Naditch
An expert in trauma and grief Rabbi Naditch will lead a discussion on how the pandemic is affecting our lives and what we can do to be resilient and get support in this time. 

November 4: Coffee Hour and fellowship
Topics for November will include Science & Faith and how to have conversations on end-of-life care with your loved ones.
