Redeemer Helps Stamp Out Hunger

On May 11, the Lexington branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers and the Lexington Interfaith Food Pantry partnered in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Nearly 20 Redeemer members and guests were among the volunteers who gathered at the church. They checked expiration dates, sorted goods, and packaged items for later use.

Thanks to Carolyn Wortman, longtime director of the Food Pantry, and the many COOR members who donated their time and items for the drive. The Lexington Interfaith Food Pantry serves 70-75 families weekly.
