Saturday, May 18:  Youth Mental Health First Aid Certification Course

Join Rev. Andrew Goldhor, fellow parishioners and others as we join together on Saturday, May 18 for a “Youth Mental Health First Aid” certification course here at Redeemer. 

This nationally well-known training day helps adults who parent, teach or otherwise work with youth learn to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.  You will learn skills and competencies to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. 

One day of your time can help protect an increasingly vulnerable age group, reduce the suffering of families and change, even save, lives.
